Cayden {Almost 4}, Harper {17 months} and Family

This adorable family drove all the way from Bismarck (about 2.5 hours) on a Monday night to have me do their family pictures - no pressure, right!?!?  It was chilly and a little windy, but we just stayed down in a lower area where it was warmer and not so windy.  The mother is a college friend and sorority sister, so it was great to see this family again!  Cayden's birthday is on Halloween, so Happy Early Birthday, silly boy!! 



Harper held her pink blankie much of the shoot because she was very happy with it, but not so much without it - and that's who she is at this age, which is great to capture!

Elsie {6 Months}, Sawyer {2}, and Braden {4}

This is absolutely one of my favorite families.  Our boys are such great friends and I love hanging out with their mom!  We intended to do a family session, but their father had to travel home unexpectedly - so we did a sibling session (and threw mom in for some!).  These kids did so very well - considering their ages, I was very surprised.  We started with little Elsie indoors for some 6 month pictures (she really could not be any cuter!) and then went to the gardens.


Elsie's mommy made this dress!  SO cute!

Elsie {7 Months}, Myla {2 1/2} and Family

I have been friends with this family pretty much since we moved here and I enjoy every minute spent with them.  This is actually the third year in a row I have done their fall pictures for them - starting when Myla was a baby!  They were my guinea pigs when I just started out.  This session was so fun as Myla was in an awesome mood and Elsie was for a bit as well.  It was a chilly evening, but we found a spot in the wooded area that wasn't windy and was warmer.  It has been so fun watching these little girls grow and luckily they will still be around, leaving the same year we do :)
