Dexter {3} and Family: Maternity

I have known this family for many many years - since high school, which was actually a long time ago even though it feels like only a few years.  They were blessed with the most adorable little boy, Dexter, and are now expecting their second little miracle.  The do not know if it is a boy or girl and cannot wait to find out (and I cannot wait to photograph him or her!).  We started with photos of the family with their two dogs because one of the dogs recently had a major health scare and they realized they have never had a photo of the 5 of them - so I was very happy to give that to them. Dexter was amazing during the shoot and just loved hugging and kissing his mommy's tummy. And doesn't the mom look amazing?!  I'm so excited for this family!

{P} Family - 50th Wedding Anniversary!

50 years of marriage - what an accomplishment!  I traveled to their beautiful lake home to capture their family on this very important occasion.  We were not blessed with a nice day as it was very very windy so we started inside and used a couple of spots outside that were sheltered.  It was very important for them to get some photos in their 1960 Buick because that car has followed them through their lives together.  From their wedding day, to bringing home both of their baby boys, and to those two boys marrying the loves of their lives and driving away together in it.  That car is truly a symbol of love for this family. It was so great meeting you all and helping you capture this important milestone in your lives.  Cheers to many more years together!!!

Levi {7}, Chloe {5}, Luke {3}, Cora {15 Months} and Family

This adorable family is full of energy and love.  They were so fun to get to know and work with on  this very hot evening.  Despite the heat, they were troopers and we got some great photos.  My husband works with the father of this family on occasion and we also found out we live quite close to each other. It was so great to meet you guys and hope to see you again very soon!
